The pillow top mattress was great, the rooms could use some updates and the floor we were one (1st floor) smelled mildew and like mold in the hallways as soon as you get out the elevator the scent hits you. There was Cobb webs in corners of the ceiling which I called the front desk about and they handled it right away (thankfully)
The hotel is historic and full of charm. Easy to walk to all kinds of entertainment. There’s something unique about staying in one of Canada’s Castles!
Hotel has all the charm of a castle. Room was very clean and well appointed. However bathroom ceiling paint was peeling, old hotel so I expected a few weathered places.
We had a great stay. Beds were very comfortable. Our room was one of the older ones and my only complaint would be the size of the bathroom. Staff was lovely and when we requested a fridge for our room they were obliging. We would stay here again.
This was such a treat for my little family. The beds were comfortable and clean. The lobby was vibrant and beautiful. We dined at Reign for botb dinner and for the bakery.
Staff was amazing. We stayed on the Gold Level which was well worth the extra charge. The food was wonderful and almost continuous in service. Walking distance to Opera, Broadway shows. And directly across from the train station.
World class, they have queen elizabeth and King Charles signed memorabilia in the lobby. Beautiful art deco restaurant lobby. went for an overnight with my daughter to catch a bluejays game and do some shopping and they upgraded us to exclusive suite floor 16. Unforgettable room and accommodations. Such sweet and positive staff from bellhops to room service to check in to text message concierge service. Thank you Fairmont!
Not to the standards of other fairmont hotels.
Very noisy in the middle of the night. Despite asking concierge on several occasions to address noise in the hallways, it continued.
Rooms outdated, small, and dark.
My room didn’t even have a tub.
Not worth the cost.

The regular hotel service is fine and the building and facilities are nice. The reception desk service isn’t good. They don’t provide you a final receipt at checkout and wrongly added one extra night stay on my account. I had to spend decent effort working with Expedia on that. Awful post-stay experience.

If they put the same amount of money and effort into the rooms as they do the main areas this would be a 5 star but the rooms are worn down and dated. The other downfall was that the shower water pressure was weak and sputtering at points.
Service staff helped to make up for the room deficiencies.
Beautiful public spaces but the rooms are badly in need of updates, especially for the room charges $$$$$

The staff upon check in great Not check out valet girl was rude and not very helpful . Had to take our bags all the way to valet bell guy didn’t even ask
