"Staying at the Tiny House in the Trees was a wonderful experience! It was very clean and everything that you would need was there for you. One note, the clearing with the telephone wires running down isnt as pictured. Its filled in with plant growth. We thought we would be able to take our dogs for a run there but there was a space in the front of the house so we made due. It wasnt an issue at all. One other note, we were unable to figure out where to take our garbage at the end of our stay....

"The property is absolutely beautiful. The house, yard, and river are immaculately kept and were exactly as advertised. The hottub and sauna were amazing as well. Unfortunately, the hosts felt the need to constantly be involved throughout our stay. From showing up on property unannounced, to sending regular text messages either berating us or informing us we were being "listened to through the camera". "We stayed for 3 nights and it was nice to be by the water but the cabin was very poorly maintained. Screen was hanging out of the door. There was very little in the way of cutlery (2 forks only). Trees need trimming so that renters can see the water. Nice to canoe the lake and watch the diving birds in the evenings."

"The listing did not include much detail, looking back it should've been a warning sign. It's a beat up property that is part of a trailer park type of "resort" as they pompously put it on their signs at the location. Expect to be disappointed if you do book it."

"We arrived late due to 4 accidents in 401 west, DVP and 401 East. The website says check in after 4 pm, but the owner said that it is at 4 pm and as such she had to pay the money we paid her to the property manager to wait for us. there was no paper in the washroom which was very dirty. the rooms, dishes, appliances were all dirty. there was no gas for BBQ and no oven tray to cook the food we brought. the owner kept on blaming us for being late and that she did not make money out of our stay....

"Very nice property. Spacious and quiet. Ideal for a quiet escape from the city. I wouldn't come here to party, but to have quiet time with family. House is a bit dated and could use some cosmetic repairs, but in general, it is as advertised."
