"Owner is tremendous. I was foreigner without good knowledge of county or location and owner was incredibly helpful and friendly assisting in finding my way. Property is clean and spacious. Very comfortable. Location is a bit of a village but if you have car it easy to find and navigate."

"Casa Pendoa is a beautiful place and we appreciated the option to store our luggage the day of our check out so we could continue our exploration of Sintra. This is a very clean apartment with lots of natural light and a close walk to the National Palace and lots of shops and restaurants. We did however experience no hot water which was a disappointment."

"Appartement situé premier étage sur rue assez achalandée, près de nombreux restos et bonne distance de marche (en pente) des sites touristiques (châteaux) et de la gare. Il est toutefois très facile de prendre Taxi, Tuk Tuk… pour se déplacer. Plus difficile avec une voiture car les places de stationnement sont très limités. Photos bien représentatives du logement, propre et bien équipé. Nous y sommes malheureusement restés que deux nuit. Je recommande!!"

"We ended our Portugal trip here in Sintra & this location was wonderful! Within walking distance of many restaurant choices & the train station 1 block away. Our visit was very brief but the apartment was just what we needed with plenty of room. Exactly as advertised & easy to navigate with street parking right out front. "Located in a village 5km north of Sintra provides a great base for visiting the sites in the area. The village was also a good place to have shoes resoled and replacement glasses! Lidl is the local supermarket and there are restaurants, cafes and a bank in the village or close by. The apartment is large and bright and a car can be parked in a secure garage."

"We stayed in 5 rentals in our 3 month stay and this was the best. There was lots of room for 5 of us, everything was sparkling clean and there were nice matching dishes. The bathrooms were a dream. We loved the little gifts left for us. We loved Sintra and the location of the condo was close to the activities and only 1 block from the train station. We used the restaurant and bakery recommendations and loved them. We would definitely return. The only negative was needing to unplug the coffee pot...

"The apartment was great. Elisabete was so welcoming and it was decorated beautifully to feel like a home. Parking was available but generally needed to use the nearby lot which was not far but when carrying luggage it was helpful to know that. We could easily visit several things we wanted to do including the electric tram and visit to the beach resort and the art museum. Elisabete was always quick to respond to my questions."
