Sea Pirate #8, Family Friendly Cottage By The Sea on Anna Maria Island
Cottage By the Sea is a (no smoking) Unit within the charming Sea Pirate condo complex located on a tranquil and desirable stretch of Gulf Drive in Holmes Beach, Florida. It is tucked away right across the street (less than 100 ft.) from the turquoise waters of the Gulf of Mexico and the expansive uncrowded and unspoiled white sands of Holmes beach.
This newly renovated and beautifully decorated unit with new furniture and linens for the bedrooms, ceramic tile floors, and a new kitchen/dining area, has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom and can accommodate comfortably six guests; sorry no pets allowed. Master bedroom has king size bed with Smart TV. In the 2nd bedroom, also with Smart TV, are 2 twin size beds that can be converted into one king size bed. The spacious living room is furnished with sofas, queen size sofa bed and also has a Smart TV,
Other amenities include dishes, cook ware, utensils, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, on-site coin operated laundry, linens, central air conditioning/heat, free cable TV, free Wi-Fi, free telephone, BBQ grill, a spacious private (gated) patio to soak in more sunshine, and relaxation and for al fresco dining. A refreshing dip in the large, heated pool is just steps from your front door. One parking space is assigned to the unit, second car can be parked right behind or in a guest spot.
Cottage By the Sea is within walking distance to shopping and restaurants where you'll find a full grocery store, pharmacy, beach shops, and restaurants - you can shop for souvenir items of choice and have dinner at any of the restaurants or you can take a sightseeing tour around Anna Maria Island on the free trolley making stops on the north side up to the historic Anna Maria Pier and southwards down to the historic Bridge Street in Bradenton Beach and further down to the Coquina Beach.
For security purposes, a Ring doorbell is present at the front door. There are no other cameras present in or outside the building or on the property. Monitoring of Ring is inactivated when guests are present.

Awesome VRBO!
Anna's place was outstanding in amenities and location. The unit has everything you need. We even cooked out on the grill and enjoyed the pool area. As always, we appreciated access to the beach area being so near and also shopping and restaurants. You won't go wrong by booking this beautiful unit.

Home away from home!
Patio is relaxing and you can visits with your neighbors easily if you choose. Unit well stocked and so cozy. Nice and quiet when you sleep and felt very safe.

We always love staying here. It’s close to everything (beach, stores, & Restaurants). This week we had the pool entirely to ourselves and just had a blast. The condo was well stocked with everyday supplies which was awesome. Thanks for another great week!!!

Our Favorite Island Getaway
This was our family's 3rd time spending the Christmas holiday at Sea Pirate #8 on AMI. We were not disappointed! The cozy cottage has everything we needed to feel at home. It is great to have beach access right across the street and be able to walk to Publix, shopping, and restaurants. Only a few other visitors were in the other units so our stay felt very quiet and private, which was nice. We will definitely be making plans to return in 2024!

Condo was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Nice pool area and right across the street from the beach. Easy walk to shops, grocery and restaurants. Owner was great - we hope to stay here again!
