We had a great time in Ottawa. The hotel was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the building is well located, walking distance to all the attractions. The only downside was the parking situation. We booked this specific location because it said it had free parking available. When we arrived they told us that the parking lot was fully booked and if we wanted a space for when it became available we actually had to pay for it. They were helpful in showing us the nearest parking lot (just crossing the street from the hotel), which turned out to be cheaper than the hotel's.

We have never offered complimentary parking as the parking garage attached to the hotel is not owned by Les Suites (the parking fee is noted on the website you booked through). Over the Victoria Day long weekend, parking in this garage may not be available and our Front Desk Agents will re-direct our valued guests to other nearby parking facilities. Check in is exactly at 3pm . Do not arrive earlier except to fall in line . It is a busy period though so understandable. The hotel location was right on spot. Easy access to Byeard market, CF mall and the parliament.

The hotel is very central, 2-3 minutes walk to CF Rideau Centre. It is at walking distance from the Parliament Hill. Tons of food and shopping options. The front desk staff were friendly. Good room service. The large pool was a plus. We'll definitely prefer to stay here again when visiting Ottawa.

First, we were given a room with no working AC, then we were moved to another room, the door of which won't open at all. So, they gave us a third room, then the following day, they lost power for the rest of the day (which is not their fault). But one would think that staff would at the very least check that every room, doors, AC and all are in good working order before they let guests stay in it.

Staff was very friendly. Easy check in. Parking garage has limited large vehicle parking. We paid to use the garage but had to park outside as there were no spots left for the truck. If you are planning to use the kitchen, bring your own dish soap.

Great location and the newly renovated rooms were amazing, clean and had everything you needed Area around is heavily populated with the homeless- overall ok but you do have to be cautious as not all were ok to be around especially at night

Dear Jamie, Thank you for your rating and I’m disappointed that you did not enjoy your stay. Unfortunately, when the students came back to the hotel to retrieve their luggage, many of them had lost their luggage tickets, which allows our team to ensure the luggage is returned to the rightful owner. Our Front Desk Team was trying to assist them by asking questions about their luggage/bags (i.e. colour, items) and some of the students began to call our Front Desk Agents racist which was very unfortunate.

I was fortunate to be booked into one of the newly renovated suites. Large rooms with living room, dining room, full kitchen, large bathroom and a king size bed and a separate bedroom. Full utensils, pots, pans, dishes were available in the kitchen. The suite also provided me with a starter kit of coffee, milk and sugar. Understanding that this is a newly renovated room, I did mention to front desk that there were a few small details that needed to be corrected for me to change it from a four-star to five-star rating. There was grout on the countertop that hadn't been removed silicon from the shower that was still on the glass. There were respects of paint on the tiles in the bathroom. All minor but for a newly renovated room they overlooked the fine details. The Rita Mall and the shot center are in close proximity to the hotel along with many attractions All within walking distance.. there is a men's shelter close by and many of the And many of them hang around the streets and sidewalks around the hotel. At no time did I feel threatened but women may want to take precaution and walk in pairs during the evening. As for the cleanliness of the hotel, due to the fact that they're going through renovations, there was plaster dust in many areas..

Very nice, the room was clean. Love the bed so comfortable. Front desk attendant was helpful. only problem during our stay was the parking coz we have huge vehicle and you can only park on the lower ground…but overall we definitely enjoyed our stay there.

The staff were very helpful. The location is very convenient. Unfortunately the pool was dirty and our room had not been dusted or properly cleaned before our arrival. They sent someone up to dust to fix it.

Very good price. Upgrade in the bed size. A little noisy. There was a workshop across the hall which started early in the morning. And overhead the floor was tiled, so rolling luggage was quite noisy.
