"We love visiting the Mendocino coast and town And have wanted to stay and dine at this beautiful ocean front inn on or previous visits but could not get a room or dining reservation So glad we could stay there this time! Close to town and many amazing state parks but private and a high quality service experience Our room looked over the river meets ocean bay Sea birds were there The food and service in the restaurant was creative delish and four star! "

"What a lovely place! Quiet, low key and perfect! Unfortunately had a 3 day stay booked- ended up in hospital for 5 days. Staff was so very assuring about packing my room up for me, and upon my return to pick up stuff, I found my things thoughtfully packed and my health checked upon- very nice! Hope to re-book soon"

"Property was very quiet, and while it wasn’t walkable to a lot of places, it was a very short drive to many restaurants and activities (1/2 mile). Kate & family were super helpful and provided a lovely breakfast every morning. Definitely recommend and would stay there again!"

"The place is relatively quiet and a distance from the core parts of the city, but offers nice facilities and great room. The only downside is parking can get very crowded especially if you return late in the evening. But overall not bad. "
