"Great hotel! The staff was very friendly and helpful with all of our questions. The place was very clean. It was great having access to all of the facilities of the park hotel next door. Location was perfect, closer to the “old town” Funchal than most of the hotels, about a 20 min walk to the center, but great area near a lot. Overall I felt very safe, only thing to note is that there is no one at the front desk between midnight and 7am, but you will need your key card to get into the building...

"Very comfy beds, we had a nice sea view room, shower also powerful. The breakfast buffet excellent lots of choice every day fully stocked the outside pool area very nice indoor pool was ok looking a little sad needs a bit of refresh however my son loved it. Bus stop 2 minutes walk very close to restaurants shop etc I would stay here again as a great base for exploring "

"Well situated in Funchal. We found it a straightforward walk into the city centre and near to the airport bus stop. Friendly and helpful staff. Small swimming pool on roof which helped cooling off after our levada walks. "

"The host will pick you up from the airport for €20. He answered all my WhatsApp messages very quickly. You really need a car if you stay here. The staff I met were really friendly. If you book, make sure (before you pay) with the host what actually is the accommodation you pay for. Re-confirm when you book and after you have booked. I found the description incredibly unhelpful."

"Three House Hotel deserves more than five stars! Our room was an apartment rather than just a hotel room, and it was perfect. The rooftop pool, deck and bar was great with comfortable seating, a very nice casual yet elegant decor and an incredible view of Funchal and the waterfront. "A very good place to live. The location is great at the top of the mountain. The view is very beautiful. The service is excellent. The owner of the hotel is a wonderful and very nice person. "The apartment was good and I have to say the value for the price was quite high. Nice to have a little balcony. Staff was friendly. I didn’t choose the breakfast so can’t comment on that. Wouldn’t recommend the affiliated pick up service bc they were sort of slow coming out of the airport (getting a cab would have probably been faster) and didn’t show at all for the return to the airport which clearly was an issue and fortunately I had the bolt app to get a cab since it was early in the am and...
