"The staff was extremely friendly during my stay. They recommended me some vegan options nearby, and also pointed me towards a corner store where I could get a new phone charger. The downstairs area was quite busy, but I could see why. The cafe/bar was a great hangout. The room was rather small with the large bed taking up most of the space, and my shower was very leaky on the floor, but otherwise a very pleasant stay. There was also a Memorial Day block party going on outside all day until 9pm,...

"The rooms are well-designed and equipped with all amenities including real coffee and a real coffee pot, nice-sized refrigerator, etc. The front desk staff is especially helpful. One went out of her way to contact me when I accidentally dropped my VISA card and a Good Samaritan turned it in. Very appreciated."

"My 3rd stay at Nu. Location is great for my purposes, easy walking to great shops, dining, parks and attractions (Promenade, Dumbo, Bkln Museum, etc), and easy subway ride into Manhattan. Hotel is always very clean and well run, all staff I’ve interacted with are friendly and helpful. Good breakfast selections. Price is great compared to other Brooklyn hotels. You should know there’s big construction nearby but it’s only during the day (and who goes to NY to sit in a hotel room all day?). Night...

"This is an absolute stay for the price if you will be staying in Brooklyn, New York. Check in was a breeze. The hotel was very clean and the continental breakfast was very good. Easy walk to restaurants and bars and about a 15 minute Uber ride to the Barclays center. There is a fee for parking and there is also a fee to check in earlier than 3 PM. I highly recommend and I would definitely stay at this hotel again "
