"I was attending a 2 day conference at Excel and travelling alone, so felt safe if I had to return alone in the evening. Staff were super helpful. I had a "take away" my first evening and in the mornings they were happy to freshly poach eggs for me. On the second evening I went to a nearby Chinese restaurant with colleagues. "The Room was a little small but sufficient for what we needed. We liked that it included a fridge, sink & microwave/oven. However the microwave was under the sink and so low we had to lay on the ground to operate the settings. We loved that it had air conditioning as we had some warm days. The staff was friendly and responsive. The location was great for us as we have relatives living about a 30 minute walk away. Also the Croydon shopping center was a short bus ride or about 35 minute walk."
