The property is well located, however the rooms do not reflect the photos of the room that you actually booked through Expedia. I asked the front desk about this and I was told that they have no control over what Expedia puts on their website. I paid for a "luxury" room and it was all but a luxury, it looked very old. The only positive thing about the room was the mountain view.

Huge noise on our second night that the staff were unable to resolve. They said that it was caused by the rain we were having but that seemed illogical. It kept us and others near us from sleeting for a good part of the night. We did not receive any offer of compensation which was very disappointing.

Overall the stay was okay. Room was clean, building was quiet, nice pool and sauna. Dining didn’t offer limited range of types of food (normally not a big deal but there aren’t many other options in the area) and the breakfast spot doesn’t offer a “regular” breakfast. Even though the main business is in the winter it was uncomfortably warm and there’s no AC. There’s a wall thermostat with cool and fan settings but no function; opened the window overnight and it cooled down but that took all of overnight.

Woodsy inn/motel on edge of town (which is tiny). Very good pasta/pub restaurant. Clean rooms, slightly dated but comfortable in thx woods. Pleasant place to stay, 5 minutes to Lake Louise right off main highway. Quiet.
