"The property had a great location. It isn’t right on the beach but it’s only a short walk to it. Same for downtown Waikiki. The on-site parking that was included was a great addition. The place had everything we needed. The on-site minimart was packed with all the little things you may have forgotten, including staples like bread, milk, and other groceries. "Had a good stay, but I have to say, needs a little bit of an update. Room felt clean but lamps by the beds were almost falling out of the wall. We love staying here though for a quick staycation! Bonus that Starbucks is literally downstairs in the lobby. "

"The location was brilliant just around the corner from Star Beachboys surfboard hire and 2 short blocks from the main beach (Canoes- where the Duke Kahanamoku statue is). We had some problems accessing our key from the lockbox- you need to pull out or up on the grey tab- and getting in the apt door- turn the key right and then fully left. "We really enjoyed our visit to Hawaii and Michael’s property was perfect for us there was a strange smell from fridge which did linger on items we chilled so refrained from using but overall good and worked for us and our budget! Would stay again"

"Everything was exactly as advertised. Room is directly above a bar but we were not disturbed at all. Awesome view from the lanai to the water and the zoo. If you rent a car, don’t get anything large, as parking is very tight. Will come back here next time!"

"We had all the necessities provided. The staff were friendly and helpful. Access to buses and trollies and the beach and shopping was awesome and easy. The biggest downside was the noise level due to the types of windows but you get used to it."

"My family (with two kids) stayed 4 nights and found that it was the perfect location with a great family atmosphere. We enjoyed the our mornings on the beach and even saw saw turtles and a seal, and found the location was perfect for our day trips and we drove to all points of the island. The had a couple of meals from the food trucks that was a short walk down the road."

"My teen son and I went to visit his older brother in Waikiki. It was our first time to Hawaii and we were not disappointed! What a wonderful experience! The room was tidy and comfortable, and the host was prompt in responding to our needs. We would definitely go again and stay there. The location was ideal and views were fantastic!"

From the moment we drove down that palm tree-lined road and stepped into the walled off courtyard, we knew we had picked the right place for our get-away. "Overall everything was great. I gave it a 4 because we paid for the week of parking and 3/5 days they oversold the parking so we had to park and pay at the zoo. Also bigger vehicles not a good idea as we couldn’t park one of our vehicles here at all due to height. We know for next time to get a smaller car too. But we paid for 5 days of parking and 3/5 days ended up paying somewhere else for parking. Property also didn’t fill our soaps and towels fully each time so we had to ask for...
