Apparently this is normal as there is no staff on hand unless there is a check-in due however this prompted me to give the hotel a call. The lady on the phone then (in a very rude manner) informed me that the booking I had had been cancelled by hotels.com and that there were no rooms available. I had not been informed of this and my booking was still listed as active and upcoming in...

"We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The onsite restaurant is very good and reasonably priced, the bar is nice to hang out in the evening. The cleanliness of the room was exceptional. The staff were helpful. I would happily stay here again. Also the location is ideal for reaching different parts of the city "

"This was my first visit to a hotel with no reception personnel. However, the instructions were good and I was able to check in on the machine and receive a room key. I speak some German, so that helped in following the registration instructions. The only complaint is that the door was left ajar on two occasions by the cleaning staff. It required a slight slam to get it to close properly. It is very convenient to public transportation, shopping and good. There was a great breakfast spot one-half...

"Hotel a 5 min a piedi dalla stazione di Opladen, per cui collegato benissimo con Koln e Dusseldorf. Ambiente pulitissimo e rinnovato di recente, sia nella struttura che nel mobilio. Accanto all'hotel ci sono bar, ristoranti e supermarket, tutti raggiungibili in pochi minuti. A ridosso dell'hotel il parcheggio e' scarso, anche a causa della ZTL. Disponibile un ampio parcheggio sterrato nei pressi della stazione, a 5 min a piedi. "

"We loved the room, it was very spacious, rooms have underfloor heating and carper so you can smell the dust. After opening the window it got better. Room doesn't have ketle and tea station, all available on the corridor but you have to pay for even hot water. Toilet and shower very clean and spacious. Very comfortable beds."
