"Ostello is a great location, away from the touristy areas. My husband and I chose this place, for the 3rd time because it’s in a local & quiet neighborhood. There are about 3 restaurants and a gelato place within 3 min of walking. We stayed for a week (for the 3rd time) and here’s things to consider. You won’t be getting new towels, toilet paper and change of sheets, after staying many days, unless you ask. We stayed for a week, as a family of 4, and had to ask for new towels and more toilet...

"Staff was very kind and helpful. The location is walkable from Firenze Santa Maria Novella. In fact, it is walkable to everything in Florence. The breakfast options were a bit limited but quite tasty. The service was wonderful. The only reason for a couple four star instead of all five star is because the hotel is definitely going through some upgrades. This is not a bad thing as it will be even better in the near future. It was just a bit noticeable this trip. "

"Great location and staff. The property was very clean. The only gripe I have is the bed is super hard (and I like a firm mattress). The pillows also left much to be desired but the staff happily gave us extra. Overall, a great value. Even with the bed, I’d probably stay here again as the location makes up for everything. "
