"We had a truly enjoyable stay. We stayed in a superior king which was spacious and full of natural light. The bed was very comfortable, there was always an abundance of towels, we didn’t hear a sound at night, we were within 8 minutes of walking to the heart of Bar Harbor, and we had the grab and go breakfast that the hotel offered on the terrace in chairs in front of our room every morning. While some of the furniture and the bathroom were a bit run down it didn’t matter to us in the least. What really stood out was the staff. Penny greeted us with the warmest of welcomes and spent a good amount of her time recommending restaurants and cafes. The next morning Christopher was there to offer us anything we needed (including printing out the pass to Acadia so we could bypass the lines at the welcome center) while Constance each morning provided recommendations and maps of hikes based on what we wanted to see and do (we followed her recommendations and went on the most amazing hikes!!) We love Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park and would stay here again without hesitation. "

"Great hotel right on York Beach. The room was small but had everything we needed. Lots of places to eat nearby. The pool and hot tubs were great. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend. "
