"Room was excellent….housekeeping not so much…was hit or miss. Also AC continually broke down, and after being told motor needed to be replaced, 3 days later it was still not done, even after someone came by every day. They did make amends and offered a massage, but for a 5 star hotel, neither or the above things should have been an issue at all."

"Wonderfully quiet and generally private. Accommodation is good, but starting to get a little rough around the edges - although I found impeccably clean. I found the housekeeping a little intrusive, there is no doorbell or warning that they are about to enter the property (outside area) with the only way to prevent access is to pull a large wooden bolt across the doors.. there is no little sign to state not to be disturbed. "What a wonderful hidden gem of a place. Beautiful pool, immaculate rooms and friendly staff. Travelled around Barlow but my heart was always pinning for another night here! First a little worried with on going building work at the front of the property but this did not inconvenience us at all. An oasis. Had super massages too"
