hotel was under renovation and led to most of the parking spots being taken up by work areas, as well as sea containers. lot of mud was left all around the walk areas and driveway. They are not maintaining or keeping up the appearances on the outside of the building at all. There’s one pond in the back that is now covered in garbage and other array of nature that has fallen in and is not being cleaned. The construction area is completely open to the public in the back of the building. The room was fairly clean, bright, and was not smelly For a pet friendly room. What we didn’t like about the room was that the AC would only go to 72, but would not keep the room any colder than 23.7°. It was colder outside. The room got very muggy and was too hot for sleeping. I stayed with my grandmother and my mother for a special girls trip, so when we were that uncomfortable that late at night I was not going to make them get dressed to have somebody come to the room and not actually fix anything. When I told staff in the morning about the issue we had they asked did I report This issue to staff before I was trying to check out. I informed them that I did not because of those reasons, and that I was checking out well before check out. So that should assist in fixing it for the person that was to stay in that room. I was not offered any goodwill for the issue. Booked a pet friendly room, but was not told I’d have an extra $50 a night.
