"We came for a family wedding in Clearwater. Our condo was amazing. We also spent a lot of time on the nice balcony watching the Dolphins play in the bay. Definitely hope to stay again"
"Loved our stay. Didn’t love the fact parking was only valet and we never drove our car the entire stay but still had to pay 40 a night. But overall was great would return! "
"We loved the live music and the convenience of the restaurant by the pool. The hotel is also close to many other walkable restaurants.
We did not care for the extra charge for lounge chairs and the umbrella by the pool. If we are already paying to stay at the resort along with resort fees the use of lounge chairs should be included. "
"This was our first trip to Clearwater. So our first time at this hotel. We loved everything about it. Our room overlooked the ocean so we got to see all kinds of marine life: dolphins, manatees, sting rays. Up close. It was awesome. No need to charter a boat. We will be back and we highly recommend."
"The staff were pleasant and professional. Parking is costly but that seems to be the trend for area. The room was fine but hallway noise and slamming neighboring doors were very noticeable. Expect to be charged for WiFi if you aren’t a Marriott Bonvoy member. A beach chair with umbrella will cost you $45 dollars a day. "

"Love the hotel location "

"Loved this resort. I read some negative reviews, mostly around the volume of the music...
I wasn't there when those reviews were written but I can say that my experience does not align with ANY negative review of any type. From check-in to housekeeping to food and beverage to valet, we didn't have a single issue and so I highly recommend visiting Shepards on your next trip to Clearwater. As a point of reference - we are 50's / 60's in age and traveled without children.
While there, walk next door to Jimmy's Seafood restaurant (not part of Shepards), grab a seat on the wooden patio overlooking the water and ask for Momma D to serve you. Then sit back, relax and enjoy some great food and an even better atmosphere. "

"Everything about this property was great. Doesn’t break the bank, private beach, nice pool, cheap umbrellas and great food. Will be coming back next year and probably every year for a while. "

"Great location great bar on the roof with good food not cheap bar food. They was having problems with key cards so we had to keep getting let into our room, but that's suppose to be fixed soon they said... they let us check in couple hours early though which was nice because we couldn't find any beach parking. Within walking distance of beach, shops, tour boats. Nice modern/ updated rooms. Clean. "
