"The hotel is excellent. It has great facilities and is in a good place to visit all attractions in Dublin. Staff are friendly and welcoming and go the extra mile to ensure that you have a good stay. Good sized room, very clean and serviced daily with fresh water, coffee and tea. My only gripe is that there is only one lift, but you can always get those extra steps on by using the stairs. The gym and pool are good."

"Rooms and hotel are older but this was expected for the age of the building and one of the reasons we booked. Requested a higher floor and had booked in Nov 23 but arrived and was told nothing available. Our room was first floor with a window looking at a roof with bird poo. Bed was comfy. Hotel staff were not well trained we were sent up stairs with all our luggage to find out we were sent the wrong way. Frustrating. Restaurant staff were fantastic. "Not the greatest stay I've ever had in my life. The room was very small and cold - the radiators were turned off at night (in the middle of January). The additional living space and communal kitchen just outside our room was nice, but the bathroom was dingy and too small with the most overly complicated and inefficient shower I've ever used in my life. The worst part was the location. There was nothing to do, see, or eat, for blocks and taxis out of the neighbors were expensive!"

"The owners of the apartment were most obliging and very helpful. There was food in the apartment for breakfast in generous quantities and nothing was too much trouble. Suggest unopened butter satchets and individual serves though, rather than share multiple opened containers. However the apartment had clearly just been vacated in a hurry prior to our arrival by the usual occupant.
