"Can not fault anything about Jamala, the zoo itself is exceptional with the cleanliness, the atmosphere and most importantly the animals are cared for with love & respect. This was the 2nd time we stayed overnight and the whole experience was again exceptional with the staff, the food and the rooms all outstanding!"

"Lovely well appointed cottage (just one of two) on an equestrian property with beautiful views towards the ACT. Rural setting only six clicks from Canberra but a world apart. Lovely owner Margaret. Nice extras such as local wine (wineries near by) and continental breakfast included."

"Overall a nice experience. A couple of observations though: the room sevice breakfast was cold and you needed to call and ask for butter for your toast. For a 5 star establiahment, it should be a given and provided with your breakfast including a selection of jams, jellies or spreads . Another criticism is that different staff constantly asked if everythjng was okay every few minutes while i was having dinner in the tea rooms. This became very annoying. Also, 2 different wait staff asked...

"I couldn’t have wished for anything more! The hotel was very centrally situated,contained everything I needed & I really enjoyed my stay "

"Loved the choice of areas to dine and drink..convenience of being on site .Safe parking.i feel the rooms need a little updating as we have stayed here a few times over the last 5years and have stayed in the same room (which I like that room!) but have noticed a few things need repair in the bathroom and curtains don’t really pull back or close properly..very minimal but sometimes little things matter.Great bed very comfy!"

"Despite having booked Citystyle Executive in Braddon and checking that we had a 2b2b unit, we were emailed with less than 48 hours notice that we had been moved to another apartment 500 m away which was a 2b2b. We were told that the Braddon site had no 2b2b units at all. Whilst we got an appartment which suited, there was a water leak in the bathroom, damaged blinds and a lack of security locks to keep the sliding exterior doors open and secure. We did however love the location and Canberra"
