"Charming great little cottage fully equipped right down to a clothes line if you don’t wish to use the dryer, bbq and lovely back deck. Having 2 bathrooms was a bonus. Walking distance to stores, restaurants, etc all within 10 minutes. Excellent base to south shore destination- an hour to Halifax. Would book this one again in a heartbeat!"

"Lovely modern cabin on the water in Riverport. Close distance to Lunenburg, multiple beaches etc...We had a nice fire in the evening with a beautiful view. Would stay again"

"The cottage was spotless and very well appointed. Especially the kitchen: came supplied with both pod and drip coffeemakers - and coffee along with some other staples. Communication with the owners was clear and timely. While the property lot runs down to the sea at Western Shore, the cottage was not truly "ocean front". It is set back from the ocean a bit but we could sit right beside the sea. Lovely!"

"Heron’s Rest was the most lovely getaway and we cannot recommend it enough. The cottage has everything you need and some very unique pieces. The sound of the river lulls you to sleep and the fire pit chairs is such a relaxing space. The whole property is so beautiful. Sherry was communicative throughout and made the experience so smooth. "Me and my family had a great and relaxing time at this charming and secluded cottage. We made good use of the kayak, paddle boat, and the beaches and loved spending time on the deck overlooking the water. Even with some rainy weather, we found plenty to do in nearby towns and made use of the board games and puzzles. The cottage is off the grid and powered by generator/solar but it is easy to manage. The host was very friendly and helpful."

"Property was as advertised and expected We stayed two nights, and prepared 3 of our meals on location. The kitchen was clean, and we’ll provided with nice cookware and dishware needed for meal prep and eating in. The host greeted us as we arrived, and gave us helpful comments about the ac/heat, the tv, and property. In retrospect as most in their 40s and older are not as intuitive as millennials and genders, it would be helpful to have a simple instruction outline on the tv and ac/heat. On our...
